These are a great deal!!! They look nice.not budget as the price would seem to dictate. The buttons to control the OSD ARE A BIT ON THE CHEAP SIDE.but if you "tap" them from the bottom, they are plenty responsive.and they look fine.I think people are trying to press them from the front, and not from below. The stands are plenty stable, whoever wrote about that.you nearly scared me away from buying these.now that I have them, you are nuts, the bases (while a bit low) are plenty stable.Ĭons: The stands are sort of short (the monitor only stands off of the surface of the desk by about 4"). Whoever said the color was not crisp must have a weak video card.I bought a EVGA e-GeForce 8600GT to run these on, and things look great. Pros: I bought two of these to use as dual monitors at work. Screen has a matte finish, I prefer this to avoid glare. The LED's are just enough to see, not overpoweringly bright or anything.Īlso the power button doesn't click like the other buttons do, maybe its supposed to? I don't know. Overall Review: The power button glows orange when its in stand-by and blue when its on. But then again my old monitor could just be showing me the wrong grey and this could be the right? Dunno. I don't mind at all really, maybe if you work with things where color is extremely important (artists and stuff).
I think there is something slightly off with the greys, I wouldn't be so harsh as the person below wrote about. It is a pretty low standing monitor, its nice, but I am using a dual monitor setup so one is slightly taller than the other now. I am waiting on my HDMI cable and adapter so I can test it out with the PS3, and I will write another review when I get that done with for anyone curious.Ĭons: does not seem to be adjustable height wise, only the angle you tilt it forwards or backwards. Right Now I am using VGA cables and the image quality is good. The monitor is bright and looks good but it isn't as amazingly bright as some of thoss glossy screens you see on display at an actual electronics store.
Its not like the best most amazing monitor in existence but I mean if you want 1680x1050 in my opinion this is the only way to go.
